Arisai R. Sliva serves as Chief Operating Officer, providing strategic and operational leadership across all facets of firm management while also supporting the firm in a law clerk capacity under attorney supervision. She brings a rare combination of executive-level operational expertise and hands-on legal support, ensuring alignment between firm strategy, legal execution, and client service.
As COO, Ms. Sliva oversees finance, human resources, compliance, technology, billing, and administrative operations. She partners closely with firm leadership to translate strategic objectives into efficient operational plans, performance benchmarks, and scalable systems. Her responsibilities include budgeting and forecasting, P&L oversight, cash-flow management, expense controls, and profitability initiatives, as well as the development and enforcement of firm policies, internal controls, and compliance protocols. She also leads talent operations, vendor management, workflow optimization, and billing and collections processes in accordance with client and carrier guidelines.
In addition to her executive responsibilities, Ms. Sliva supports attorneys through legal research, analysis, and drafting, including assistance with pleadings, motions, discovery responses, memoranda, and litigation preparation. She plays an integral role in organizing case files, reviewing contracts and legal correspondence, preparing exhibits, and supporting pre-suit investigations and regulatory matters.
Ms. Sliva is a foreign-trained attorney and holds dual Master of Laws (LL.M.) degrees from the University of Houston Law Center, with graduate study focused on U.S. Law and Energy, Environmental, and Natural Resources Law. She earned her initial law degree from Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacín in Venezuela and is bilingual in English and Spanish.
